There are NO FEES to authors for publishing their works with Apple Academic Press. All the book proposals are accepted and rejected on a merit basis.
Apple Academic Press does not publish content that has been previously published in open access journals, books, etc., without appropriate permission. Prospective authors should ensure that all the material (text, figures, tables, graphs, images, etc.) used in your work are 100% original, in your own writing.
AAP Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence
Author(s)/Editor(s) shall make sure that all material in the Work (either written by the Author(s)/Editor(s) or by Chapter Authors) will not be created with any artificial intelligence (AI) tools, such as AI paraphrasing tools (also known as a rephraser or rewording tools) of Works by other individuals, AI-generating text tools, AI-created figures, etc.
However, Author(s)/Editor(s) and Chapter Authors may use AI tools for certain purposes, such as to analyze and draw insights from data as part of the research process. Where Author(s)/Editor(s) use AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process, these technologies should ONLY be used to improve readability and language of the work, such as for spelling or grammar, and not to replace the authors’ own insights and evaluation of data.
Authors and Editors are ultimately responsible and accountable for the contents of the their work.
IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THE CONTENT OF BOOKS
Books should be developed to have a definite and specific theme within a broader subject area. Chapters should clearly relate to the book’s topic as described in the original book proposal and should not be a compendium of loosely related chapters under a broad theme. Chapters must be arranged in a manner that they are interlinked and complement each other.
Books should have international/global focus and appeal, as appropriate to the subject matter, and edited books should have chapters written by authors from different countries. It is also ideal if one or more of the book’s editors are also chapter authors. If the content is intended to focus on only one region or country, please clear that with the publisher first unless that was clearly stated in the book proposal questionnaire you submitted.
AAP requires a minimum of 70% chapters in the book from global contributors (outside India). Upon submission, if we see this condition is not fulfilled, then submission will be rejected.
Chapters that are studies on India only should not be included, unless the book is primarily about India.
Please limit the page count for the book between 280 to 310 manuscript pages (11 point Word, 1.5 line space, default margins) or about 70,000 to 80,000 words in total.
Book chapters should be peer-reviewed and/or vetted very carefully by the book’s editor(s) for original content, relevance, satisfactory grammar, etc. Chapters should be geared toward upper-level students, faculty, researchers, scientists, industry professionals, etc., as appropriate. They should not be introductory in nature or general overviews. (If chapters are peer reviewed, please try to mention that in the preface to the book.)
Prior to indicating acceptance of chapters to chapter authors (for edited works), we will require you to send us your suggested table of contents for our approval before proceeding. This will help us to help you with the editorial organization of the book for quality and marketability and will prevent unnecessary communication later with chapter authors whose work was later rejected after being prematurely accepted.
To submit your book idea, please complete the AAP Book Proposal Questionnaire (at the bottom of this page) and send it to

COMMENTS FROM AAP EDITORS AND AUTHORS
AAP book title: Advances in Audiology and Hearing Science (2-volume set)
“I have collaborated with AAP during the process of bringing my two-volume editing work to a final publishing phase. AAP support has been truly important throughout the initial and final stages of the book. While the majority of the publishing work is done at the early stages, the final touches that include the last-minute corrections of the authors are extremely crucial to the quality the book tries to convey. The assistance of AAP during the last stages of corrections and communication with the authors was a very positive contributor to my state of mind during those stressful moments. I recommend the publishing experience with AAP to other editors of scientific material.”
—Stavros Hatzopoulos, PhD, Hearing Science Laboratory, University Hospital of Ferrara, Ferrara, Italy
AAP book title: Nanotechnologies: The Physics of Nanomaterials (2-volume set)
“I was very pleased with the interaction and support of the team at Apple Academic Press. They provided me with regular and useful information and updates throughout the publishing procedure. I am also very happy with the final product, which is of good quality. The books are now available and are professionally distributed through the various channels. I would like again to thank the team at AAP for all their hard work and support.”

"Publishing a book, either as author or editor, is a journey from the initial vibration to the piece of knowledge towards the present future of humanity at large. Such a journey is about climbing and tunneling, about diving and driving through, about inspiration and tuning, about hard working in every instance; and it is also about time.
