Sajad Ahmad Sofi, PhD, is currently a Food Analyst at the Food Testing Laboratory, Department of Food Technology, IUST, Awantipora, India. He has been awarded with a gold medal for outstanding performance during his MSc degree program and an UGC award for a PhD fellowship. Dr. Sofi has more than 45 publications in internationally reputed journals as well as 10 book chapters. He is an active reviewer for many scientific journals of repute. He has attended several national and international conferences, workshops, and seminars. He received his MSc (Food Technology) degree from Islamic University of Science & Technology, Awantipora, India, and PhD (Food Science & Technology) degree from SKUAST, Jammu, India. Dr. Sofi has also qualified the National Eligibility Test in Food Technology conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

Khalid Muzaffar, PhD
Post Doc Fellow, Department of Food Technology, IUST, Awantipora, India

Khalid Muzaffar, PhD, is affiliated with the Department of Food Science and Technology at the University of Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir, India, where he is currently working as a Research Fellow. He has authored a book and has over 30 publications in esteemed international journals. Dr. Muzaffar actively serves as a reviewer for journals such as Powder Technology, Drying Technology, Food Chemistry, Journal of Food Science and Technology, and other reputable scientific journals. He earned an MSc (Food Technology) from the Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora, India, and a PhD (Food Technology) from the Sant Longowal Institute of Engi-neering and Technology, Longowal, India. Dr. Muzaffar has also passed the National Eligibility Test in Food Technology conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, India.

Basharat Nabi Dar, PhD
Assistant Professor, Department of Food Technology, IUST, Awantipora, India

Basharat Nabi Dar, PhD, began his professional journey in 2012 as an Assistant Professor of Food Technology at IUST, Awantipora, India. He served as a Visiting Scientist at the Institute of Food Science, Cornell University, New York, USA, under the CV Raman Fellowship of the University Grants Commission, India. He holds a degree in Agricultural Sciences and completed his MS and PhD in Food Technology. He was honored with a UGC Research Award 2014–2016 in Agricultural Sciences. He is a member of the expert panel of the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Meeting (JEMRA) on the prevention and control of microbiological hazards in fresh fruits and vegetables. He acts as the Coordinator of the Food Testing Laboratory sponsored by the Ministry of Food Processing and Industries, India. He is actively involved in various research projects as a principal investigator and member. His contributions have led to collaborations, presentations, interactions with professionals, and a significant presence in public policy discussions through his role as a technical expert for WHO/FAO and the GOI. He has edited five books and has over 90 publications in his field.

Shabir Ahmad Mir, PhD
Assistant Professor, Government College for Women, Srinagar, India

Shabir Ahmad Mir, PhD, is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Government College for Women in Srinagar, India. He has been instrumental in organizing various conferences and workshops in the field of food science and technology. Additionally, Dr. Mir has authored numerous international papers and book chapters and has edited five books. He earned his PhD in Food Technology from Pondicherry University in Puducherry, India. Dr. Mir was honored with the Best PhD Thesis Award in 2016 for his exceptional research by the Whole Grain Research Foundation.
