Satish Chandra Bagri, PhD, is the former Vice Chancellor at Himgiri Zee University as well as the former Professor and Dean of the Centre for Mountain Tourism and Hospitality Studies as well as former Dean of the School of Management at H.N.B. Garhwal Central University, Uttarakhand, India. Professor Bagri served as a Professor at the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM), Gwalior, under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. He initiated the publication of the Journal of Tourism in collaboration with the University of Southern Mississippi, USA, and serves as its Editor-in-Chief. The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in Madrid appointed him as a consultant for the project on Human Resource Development in the Tourism and Hospitality sector for Punjab and West Bengal states. With over 42 years of expertise and experience in the field, Prof. Bagri is the founder President of the Indian Hospitality Congress. He has authored seven internationally published books, over 100 research papers, and supervised 25 PhD research scholars in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Recognizing his expertise, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, appointed him to establish the National Resource Centre in Tourism and Hospitality Services Management for developing an online refresher program for assistant professors teaching tourism and hospitality disciplines, which he completed with the assistance of a team of 40 subject experts. Prof. Bagri has been actively involved in organizing conferences and seminars, both nationally and internationally, and has delivered presentations on various tourism-related topics. His administrative roles have included positions such as Head of Department, Chairman of Boards, and Dean of Faculty at various universities.

Senior Research Fellow, Center for Mountain Tourism and Hospitality Studies, H.N.B. Garhwal Central University, Uttarakhand, India

Junaid K . C., MBA, is a distinguished sociocultural anthropologist, currently serving as a Senior Research Fellow at the esteemed Center for Mountain Tourism and Hospitality Studies, within H.N.B. Garhwal Central University, Uttarakhand, India. Holding dual master degrees in Tourism Management and Anthropology from Pondicherry University, Junaid, he has honed his expertise in various facets of tourism research and anthropological studies. His research interests include tourism carrying capacity, entrepreneurship in tourism, community-driven tourism planning, and human resource development (HRD) in the tourism sector. His methodological prowess encompasses specialized techniques such as ethnography and netnography, enabling him to conduct in-depth investigations into diverse cultural landscapes. He is a prolific author, having published numerous research papers published in reputable peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he has presented his research findings at international and national conferences and seminars. Highlighted among his notable publications is Entrepreneurship Education in Tourism and Hospitality Management, co-authored with Satish Chandra Bagri and R. K. Dhodi. Beyond his academic pursuits, he founded ventures such as PUPUZO and Tourism Talks, platforms aimed at fostering innovation and dialogue within the tourism industry.
