This valuable new book provides a broad understanding of the main computational techniques used for processing reclamation of fluid and solid mechanics. The aim of these computational techniques is to reduce and eliminate the risk of mechanical systems in hydraulic machines. Using many computational methods for mechanical engineering problems, the book presents not only a platform for solving problems but also provides a wealth of information to address various technical aspects of troubleshooting of mechanical system failure.

Suitable for classroom use, the book lends itself to courses focusing on experimental approaches in fluid mechanics. The informal, studentoriented style is retained and has the flavor of an interactive lecture by the authors. The focus of the book is on practical and realistic fluids engineering experiences. A number of photographs and figures are included, especially to illustrate new design applications and new instruments.

At the end of each chapter, there are comprehensive problems that cover a broad range of concepts, often from several different chapters. These comprehensive problems grow and recur throughout the book as new concepts arise. Also included is a special Engineering Equation Solver (EES), which is keyed to many fluids engineering experiences throughout the book.

He is the member of editorial boards for many international engineering journals.

Soltan Ali Ogli Aliyev, DSc, is Deputy Director of the Department of Mathematics and Mechanics at the National Academy of Science of Azerbaijan (AMEA) in Baku, Azerbaijan. He has served as a professor at several universities. He is the author and editor of several books as well as of a number of papers published in various journals and conference proceedings.

Sabu Thomas, PhD, is the Director of the School of Chemical Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, India. He is also a full professor of polymer science and engineering and the Honorary Director of the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of the same university. He is a fellow of many professional bodies. Professor Thomas has authored or coauthored many papers in international peerreviewed journals in the area of polymer processing. He has organized several international conferences and has more than 420 publications, 11 books and two patents to his credit. He has been involved in a number of books both as author and editor. He is a reviewer to many international journals and has received many awards for his excellent work in polymer processing. His h Index is 42.
