Studies reveal that lung cancer causes about 22% of all cancer deaths worldwide, posing a significant challenge to the healthcare system. This new book, The Role of Nanotechnology in Holistic Lung Cancer Management and Treatment, is a comprehensive exploration of cutting-edge strategies in combating lung cancer and minimizing its harm.

Covering a wide array of topics that range from the molecular mechanisms underlying lung cancer to the latest advancements in nanotechnology-based therapies, the book offers valuable insights into different aspects of lung cancer management, including the roles of dendrimers, polymeric micelles, nano-emulsions, inhalation delivery systems, novel nano-imaging platforms, hydrogels, quantum dots, and nanotherapeutics. It also covers drug delivery systems such as inhalation drug delivery systems, polymeric nanoparticle-based drug/gene delivery, SLN-based gene delivery, and liposome-based drug delivery for lung cancer. This book also addresses the impact of carcinogenic pollutants on lung cancer development, highlighting the importance of understanding environmental factors and implementing intervention strategies. Additionally, it delves into ongoing research and clinical trials, shedding light on promising nanotechnological approaches for more effective lung cancer treatment.

The book will provide helpful insight on role of nanotechnology in holistic lung cancer for medical researchers, medical professionals, educators, and policymakers involved in fields related to nanotechnology and oncology.
