About the Authors / Editors:
Editors: Rajender Boddula, PhD
Associate Professor, School of Sciences, Woxsen University, Hyderabad, India

Dr. Rajender Boddula is a highly accomplished researcher and academic with a strong focus on materials science, energy, and environmental sustainability. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at the School of Sciences, Woxsen University, Hyderabad, India, and also holds an adjunct professorship at Graphic Era Hill Deemed University, India. Dr. Boddula earned his Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from Kakatiya University, Warangal, India, in 2008. He completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry with the highest honors in 2014 from CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT) and Kakatiya University, with his doctoral research focusing on "Synthesis and Characterization of Polyanilines for Supercapacitor and Catalytic Applications." His extensive postdoctoral career includes prestigious fellowships and research positions globally: as a Chinese Academy of Sciences-President’s International Fellowship Initiative (CAS-PIFI) fellow at the Chinese Academy of Science-National Center for Nanoscience and Technology (CAS-NCNST, Beijing), a Postdoctoral Researcher at National Tsing-Hua University (NTHU, Taiwan), and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Advanced Materials (CAM), Qatar University. His diverse research engagements have contributed significantly to fields such as functional materials synthesis, biofuels, water splitting, and biomass/CO? valorization. Dr. Boddula’s research expertise spans sustainable nanomaterials, graphene and polymer composites, heterogeneous catalysis, environmental remediation technologies, energy conversion and storage systems (including supercapacitors, and batteries). He is a prolific author with over 96 research articles, 42 book chapters, and 66 edited books published with renowned international publishers like Springer, Elsevier, Wiley-Scrivener, and CRC Press. Dr. Boddula is the recipient of several academic honors including the Australian Endeavour Research Fellowship, CSIR-UGC National Fellowships, and CAS-PIFI. Dr. Boddula also holds significant editorial roles, serving on the editorial boards of “Bioinorganic Chemistry and Applications” (Hindawi Publishers) and "Hydrogen" (MDPI) journals, Associate Editorial Board Member of “Current Science, Engineering and Technology (CSET)” (Bentham Publishers), and  Review Editor for "Frontiers in Chemistry" and reviewer for various leading international journals, in addition to guest-editing for several other international journals.

Prakash Kumar Sarangi, PhD
Directorate of Research, Central Agricultural University, Manipur, India

Dr. Prakash K. Sarangi is a Scientist with specialization in Microbiology at the Central Agricultural University in India. He received his Ph.D. degree in Microbial Biotechnology from Ravenshaw University in India. His research focuses on bioprocess engineering, renewable energy, biochemicals, biomaterials and rural development. He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and 10 book chapters. He is the editor of several books for Springer, CRC Press and IK International Publishing House. He is a fellow of the Society for Applied Biotechnology, and a life member of the Biotech Research Society of India; Society for Biotechnologists of India; Association of Microbiologists of India; Orissa Botanical Society; Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Association of India; Indian Science Congress Association; Forum of Scientists, Engineers & Technologists; and International Association of Academicians and Researchers. He is a member in reputed international journals like International Journal of Hydrogen energy, Applied and Environmental Microbiology as reviewers and Editor in PLOS One.

Ramyakrishna Pothu, PhD

Ramyakrishna Pothu submitted her PhD thesis in the chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Jianmin Ma in the Hunan University (China). She obtained her Bachelor degree from Satavahana University, India in 2013, and her Postgraduate degree from Osmania University, India in 2015, respectively. She has published several scientific articles in peer-reviewed international journals and co-authored more than thirty book chapters by various publishers and she has co-edited book with Wiley publishers. Her main research interests focus on the functional nanomaterials and its composites for energy and environmental science.

Noora Al-Qahtani, PhD

Dr. Noora Al-Qahtani as Acting Head of Central Lab Unit and Research Assistant Professor at the Center for Advanced Materials (CAM), Qatar University (QU), was awarded her BSc in Physics and Biomedical Sciences from the College of Arts and Sciences at Qatar University in 2008. Then, she pursued her MSc and PhD degrees at the University of Sheffield, UK, and Imperial College London, UK, in 2015 and 2020, respectively. Dr. Noora is the first Qatari female whose PhD is in corrosion. During her academic career, Dr. Al-Qahtani has chaired and participated in many projects and committees at QU. In addition, Dr. Noora collaboration within QU and international research groups is remarkable. Moreover, she is a member of many professional organizations and participated in various training sessions and workshops focusing on strategic management, research administration, international relations, and education strategies. Dr. Al-Qahtani is also one of the founders and was, for a long period, a leading member of the Al-Bairaq team, which has received numerous local and international awards. Dr. Noora Al-Qahtani experience exceeds 15 years in both academia and industry. Her impressive record, with over 50 articles, has been published in well-reputed, high-impact peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Al-Qahtani has been awarded, independently and in collaboration with other researchers, many grants from Qatar University. For instance, she is a key investigator in three mega projects funded by the Qatar National Research Fund (NPRP), worth more than 1.9 million USD. Dr. Al-Qahtani received multiple awards from renowned organizations worldwide. In 2023, she was honored with the Best Researcher Award at the 5th Edition of the International Research Awards on Advanced Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology.
