This new volume, Technological Advancements in Sustainable Crop Improvement and Production, is a timely exploration of the advanced technologies and methodologies that are reshaping the landscape of modern agriculture.

The volume discusses new advances in crop improvement and production technologies, focusing on the need for sustainability. The book explores the integration of biotechnology in crop production, which offers numerous solutions, from developing crops resistance to abiotic stresses such as drought and salinity to enhancing crop nutritional content and postharvest quality.

Topics include molecular markers as an emerging strategy for crop improvement, applications of genome editing in modern crop technology, tissue culture techniques and their role in crop improvement and applications of nanotechnology for sustainable development of agriculture. Each chapter explores both the theoretical principles behind these technologies and their practical applications in agriculture. What sets this book apart is its holistic approach to agricultural biotechnology.

Bringing together a range of expertise from scholars and professionals across different facets of agricultural biotechnology, the volume integrates the latest research with practical examples, and applications, making it a valuable resource for researchers, practitioners, and students alike.
