This new book, Smart Healthcare: Ethical and Legal Concerns, explores the fast-expanding connection between technology and healthcare, addressing the critical ethical and legal issues raised by smart healthcare technologies. It offers a necessary discussion of the utilization of digital solutions like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, telemedicine, and virtual reality and the way they are changing patient care, data privacy, and healthcare legislation.

Chapters focus on particular aspects of smart healthcare, such as patient-centric applications and AI-driven medication discovery, the incorporation of metaverse solutions into public health, and the legal frameworks that regulate digital healthcare in India and globally. The book also investigates the ethical issues surrounding telemedicine, patient privacy, and the balance of innovation and safety in healthcare technologies. Through different chapters, it addresses the legal techniques required for the ethical implementation of AI in diagnostics, as well as global regulatory perspectives on patient empowerment.

The book also explores the impact of smart healthcare technologies on the standard of patient care, taking organizational support and technological literacy into perspective. Topics such as intellectual property in healthcare technologies and the role of chatbots in revolutionizing patient care are also extensively covered, providing insights into the future of healthcare systems.
