Reviews
“Stands out as a distinctive and valuable source of the latest literature for the advancement of side-effect-free drug development in treating reproductive disorders. [P]rovides a balanced approach on different aspects of reproductive disorders by giving compressive and updated account on pathogenesis and role of nano-treatments. . . . [An] impressive volume.”
—From the Foreword by O.P. Agrawal, Retired Professor and Former Vice Chancellor, School of Studies in Zoology, Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India

In the dynamic landscape of medical progress, the convergence of nanotechnology and therapeutics is a promising frontier that is reshaping healthcare. This new book, Nanotherapeutics in the Treatment of Reproductive Disorders, delves into the transformative impact of nanotechnology on reproductive health challenges. Stemming from the recognition of unique opportunities in reproductive medicine, it explores innovative solutions for disorders with profound societal implications and deepens our understanding of how nanotherapeutics can revolutionize the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of reproductive disorders, opening new avenues for personalized interventions.

The volume covers the fundamental nanotechnology principles applied to reproductive biology, bridging scientific discovery with practical healthcare solutions. It is a compendium of different aspects of human reproductive disorders and presents groundbreaking nanotechnology-based approaches for endometrial cancer therapy, pelvic inflammatory diseases, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and reproductive disorders in both genders, exploring causes, symptoms, and innovative nanoparticle-based treatments. A host of nanotherapeutic interventions are discussed, such as the use of zinc oxide nanoparticles, phytoestrogen-based nanotherapeutics, phytonanotherapy, and more. Also discussed are the signs, symptoms, diagnostic tests, and treatment options of reproductive health issues as well as the types and causes of infertility, sexually transmitted infections and their impact on reproductive health, and more.

Key features:

  • Offers comprehensive coverage of current research and advancements in nanotherapeutics for reproductive disorders
  • Provides in-depth analysis of the potential benefits and limitations of nanotherapeutics compared to traditional treatments for reproductive disorders
  • Presents case studies and real-world examples of successful applications of nanotherapeutics for reproductive disorders
  • Provides practical information and guidance for clinicians and researchers on how to develop and implement nanotherapeutic treatments for reproductive disorders
Presenting valuable information on the groundbreaking area of nanotherapeutics for reproductive disorders, this volume will be an important resource for professionals, scientists and researchers, and faculty and students in the fields of reproductive healthcare and medicine, nanotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology, and related areas.
