He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Life Sciences and Allied Health Sciences, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He has more than two years of teaching and research experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr. Hajam has published 149 articles (more than 68 research papers and 78 book chapters in edited books) in leading national and international journals and 12 national proceedings with research credentials (citations:1847, h-index: 20, i10: 30). Dr. Hajam has published 12 books as editor for Springer Nature, Taylor and Francis, Apple Academic Press (CRC Group), Nova Science Publisher, Gerlag Publisher, Germany, etc. He has guided five MSc students (two as supervisor and three as co-supervisor) under the thesis mode and 36 MSc students under the project mode. He has guided one student for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) thesis, and currently four students are pursuing PhDs under his supervision. He has handled one major research project (PI) and three projects under HP Chief Minister Start Up Scheme. He also served as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Zoology Department, Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India. She received her bachelor’s degree in Zoology (with honors) from Patna University, Bihar, India, and her post-graduation and PhD (Zoology) degrees from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. Dr. Rai has more than 20 years of teaching and research experience. She has successfully completed seven major and minor research projects.
