A valuable resource for anyone interested in AI-driven medical imaging and its potential to transform the field of healthcare.”
—From the Foreword by Kyla L. Tennin, DM, MBA, University of Phoenix College of Doctoral Studies, Center for Leadership Studies and Entrepreneurial Research, USA

Focusing on medical imaging and clinical decision-making, this new volume, AI-Driven Medical Imaging and Diagnosis, explores the revolutionary effects of AI on the healthcare industry. It offers an overview of the many current and potential uses of AI to enhance more accurate and faster diagnosis and more effective management of disease and health issues, to improve patient outcomes, and to streamline workflow and reduce costs.

The book looks at the ways in which computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning are transforming healthcare, namely in the areas of diagnosis and illness management. Chapters cover data-driven approaches for evaluating cardiovascular risk; for using AI for cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention; for schizophrenia detection using artificial intelligence; and for AI-driven medical imaging for enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and objectivity of medico-legal investigations, such as determining the cause of death to identifying human remains. The volume looks at the use of AI-driven surgical robots, considers ethical challenges in AI imaging applications in healthcare, and discusses how AI technologies can enhance precision in imaging and diagnosis.

This volume will serves as a valuable resource for healthcare professionals, researchers, students, and anyone interested in the intersection of AI and healthcare. It offers a comprehensive reference for those seeking to navigate the complex landscape of AI in medical imaging and diagnosis.
