Professor, Universiti Teknologi Brunei

Sivakumar Manickam, PhD, a Chemical Engineer with over 25 years of experience, specializes in nanopharmaceutical process engineering. Currently at Universiti Teknologi Brunei, he previously worked at the University of Nottingham in Malaysia. His research focuses on cavitation-based reactors, green extraction, water treatment, pharmaceutical nanoemulsions, and carbon nanomaterials for biosensors. He has led over 20 projects, supervised over 50 students, and authored over 250 papers. He has an h-index of 62. He serves on the Asia Oceania Sonochemical Society board and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC).

Wendy Pei Qin Ng, PhD
Lecturer, Universiti Teknologi Brunei

Wendy Pei Qin Ng, PhD, is currently a Lecturer at the Universiti Teknologi Brunei. She has more than 10 years of industry and academic experience. Her research focus spans process optimization and supply chain synthesis, where she applies her extensive knowledge to enhance efficiency and sustainability in engineering practices. She has authored/co-authored more than 70 publications in these areas, and has an h-index of 17. Beyond her academic contributions, she actively participates in various international scientific committees and consultancy projects, showcasing her commitment to advancing global scientific collaboration and knowledge exchange. She is a Professional Engineer/Chartered Professional Engineer recognized by the Board of Engineers Malaysia, Engineers Australia and the ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer Coordinating Committee.

Reddy Prasad D. M., PhD
Associate Professor, Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Programme, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Brunei

Reddy Prasad D.M., PhD, is an IChemE-Chartered Engineer (UK). His areas of technical expertise and research interest include renewable energy systems, environmental engineering, separation processes and engineering education. With over 24 years of experience, he has led over 15 projects, supervised over 20 students, and authored over 75 papers. He has an h-index of 17. He works as an Associate Professor in the Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Programme, Faculty of Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Brunei, Brunei.

Uditha Ratnayake, PhD
Senior Assistant Professor, Universiti Teknologi Brunei

Uditha Ratnayake, PhD, has published more than 75 papers and several country reports. He has participated in several sponsored research projects by the APN and IGES, Japan. He also served as a visiting scholar at the University of Tokyo and the United Nations University, Tokyo. His current research interests are on the hydrological impacts of climate change, channel and river flow hydraulics, erosion, flood analysis, and infiltration processes.
