Laxmi Kant Bhardwaj, PhD is an environmental scientist and Deputy Director of Research at GoldSmith Institute of Advanced Research (GIAR), Madhya Pradesh, India, and is affiliated with the Amity Institute of Environmental Sciences, Amity University, Noida. His research spans environmental science, biotechnology, food safety, and pharmaceutical applications, with particular emphasis on persistent organic pollutants, microplastics, heavy metals, phthalates, e-waste, fecal sludge, microalgae, and nanoparticles. He participated in the 10th Indian Scientific Expedition to the Southern Ocean (ISESO) and serves as a review editor for Springer Nature. Dr. Bhardwaj has reviewed more than 200 manuscripts for leading publishers, including Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, and Elsevier. He has authored or edited five books, published approximately 80 research papers and book chapters, and has received more than 1,100 citations, with an h-index of 19. His professional recognition includes the Young Researcher Award from the Institute of Scholars (2022), editorial board appointments with several international journals, and memberships in multiple professional organizations. He earned his MSc in Biotechnology from Bundelkhand University and his PhD in Environmental Science from Amity University, Noida.

Prangya Rath, PhD
Environmentalist, Amity Institute of Environmental Sciences, Amity University, Noida, India

Prangya Rath, PhD is an environmental scientist whose research focuses on environmental science, biotechnology, and pollutant monitoring. She has more than five years of research experience and has worked with several leading institutions, including the University of Delhi, South Asian University, the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), and Amity University. She also completed an internship with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Delhi. Dr. Rath qualified the CSIR-SRF NET national examination and has developed a strong record in scientific writing, laboratory research, and environmental analysis. She has published more than 50 research and review articles in high-impact journals. Her current research emphasizes microplastics in aquatic environments, along with studies on e-waste, fecal sludge, microalgae, nanoparticles, and related environmental contaminants. She is recognized for her interdisciplinary approach to environmental research and her contributions to advancing sustainable solutions. She earned her PhD in Environmental Science.

Amit Kumar, PhD
Environmentalist, CSIR–National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India

Amit Kumar, PhD is a scientist at the CSIR–National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, India, with more than 19 years of research experience in environmental biotechnology and phytoremediation. His research focuses on mitigating arsenic contamination in crops through biochemical, molecular, and nanotechnology-based approaches, with the goal of improving agricultural productivity while protecting environmental and human health. Dr. Kumar has also been associated with the University of Lucknow and has published 52 research articles that have received more than 4,000 citations, resulting in an h-index of 30. He has edited two books, authored numerous book chapters and magazine articles, and presented his research at national and international conferences. An active reviewer for scientific journals, he is also a life member of several professional societies. His honors include the Protsahan Award (2021), Awsar Award (2020), and Young Scientist Award (2018). He earned his MSc in Biotechnology from Bundelkhand University and his PhD in Environmental Science from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow.
